Trippin'

Almost the entire Kahrs family will be traveling this week. Sarah and mom leave for China on Sunday to see James, and I am leaving tomorrow night for Bucharest. Fun times ahead! Dad and Kerry will stay in Georgia to keep the home fires burning...I can't wait til we are reunited to share our travel stories.

Little Bro's 5k and other successes...

My brother James recently posted about running a 20 minute 5k - for all you non-runners out there, this is quite an accomplishment. In all my years of running I've never been able to do anything less than 21 minutes. James ran x-country in high school, took a few years off, and is recently back into running. Way to go, James!

Into the Wild

I recently saw Into the Wild at the Arlington Cinema and Draft House - a rundown theater that serves beer and a full menu of grill type stuff. It's my new favorite theater. I highly recommend both the movie and the theater. "Into the Wild" didn't get much coverage and I don't think it made it into some of the mainstream theaters but its definitely worth adding to the Netflix list.
